Committees
Please consider participating on a CoAPCR Committee to impact the educational offerings in clinical research and your voice to the collaborative work of CoAPCR in supporting the work of academic programs in clinical research. We aim to enhance curricula of member programs to offer outcomes-based education that will promise highly competent graduates to support the clinical research enterprise world-wide.
How can you become involved in CoAPCR Committees?
The committees work in virtual teams exchanging information and documents via E-mail. Monthly and bi-monthly conference calls using an Internet connection enable presentations and exchange of documents.
Persons interested in the committee topics may join in these discussions by contacting Carolynn Thomas Jones, DNP, MSPH, RN. The results of committee efforts will be discussed during periodic CoAPCR Teleconferences and at the CoAPCR annual meeting, held in conjunction with the annual ACRP meetings.
CoAPCR is presently coordinating the work of four committees:
The Program Directory and Membership Committee is reviewing and consolidating information about the entire existing academic educational programs in clinical research, both in the U.S. and worldwide. Persons serving on this committee are considering the costs, course offerings, settings, target student populations, information technology and logistics of each of these programs. The aim is to engage all active academic programs as members in CoAPCR for the exchange of ideas, curricula and outcomes of graduates to best serve the growing research enterprise.
