2013    CoAPCR 10 Year Anniversary

CoAPCR President Carolynn Jones and Treasurer Stephen Sonstein attended several CAAHEP events to promote the acceptance of clinical research careers and clinical research education as an accreditation category.  Clinical research was accepted as a "profession" by CAAHEP and CoAPCR was granted membership to the organization.

Subsequently the Consortium created the Commission of Accreditation (CoA) led by Stephen Sonstein. This committee will develop the core competencies for the accreditation of clinical research management programs.  Additional alliances including working with MAGI and ACRP who are committed to the mission of CoAPCR and our students.

President: Carolyn Jones, the Ohio State University

Secretary: Barbara Gladson, Rutgers University

Treasurer: Stephen Sonstein, Eastern Michigan University
